Welcome to a whole new world of man's best friend: The GoldenRetriever/Standard Poodle aka: doods or goldendoodle(F1's only); The Toy Poodle; and the Shih-Tzu/Poodle aka:shih-poo.

At Country Medley you will find a rolling country side for these gorgous, energetic creatures.  We have prided ourselves in rearing a small hybrid pet business. As you can see all of the puppies are hand raised. All are tagged at about 3 weeks to collect data for the buyer to connect personalities.  No Puppy mill,  and no stacked cages. At Country Medley you will find rolling green grass, pet rooms and the ever loved couch. Our puppys are sold for the love and joy of a pet, not for breeding purposes.

What We Do

A few years ago, I aquired Sir Winston, a Shih-Tzu and fell in love with his personality and his expression. My friend and I then aquired the first poodles Brandi and Emma and from there it was all over.  I could not resist keeping one of Brandi's chidlren, Kattie.  My husband and I then purchased 2 pure Shih-Tzus, Misty and Abbey, and another Toy Poodle, Cody.  Then we thought it would be great to have some out door friends as well, thus we aquired Kubba, the man of the yard and pure Standard French Poodle, loaded with grace and elegance. He came from a long line of show poodles.  His Master was dying of a long illness and asked me to love Kubba and give him a good home.Well, that was easy. I believe with out being partial, Kubba is the smartest dog I have ever seen or owned.  Before long we stumbled upon the most beautiful Golden Retriever pups, sisters, we could not leave with just one.  So there you have it.  We raise and breed the best of friends in hybrid doods(F1's Only, which are purebreed GoldenRetrievers to purebreed Standard Poodles), shih-poos and poos.  All are pet quaility pets raised in a home not a factory.

I guess good news travels fast.  We had a relatively large litter of Shih-Poos and before we could get litter pictures and announcements out, they were getting new homes. At the top of this page you will see 3 of our little men that have yet to be spoken for.  This litter actually seems to be more advanced, smarter, and more cuddly that past litters.  These guys have sweet natures and love to be held.  Please call today before the rest of the litter disappears and you have to wait.
